Alright, the next shape that we’re going to
focus on is the triangle. Now the triangle actually creates movement and it creates dynamic
movement and is the principle for to move forward into the circle as well as to incorporate
the square. Now Arnis uses the triangle almost exclusively as a way of hitting, stepping
in, strike, move out, get away. Brazilian Jujitsu, their primary use of technique is
their use of the triangle. That’s what they’re known for. In aikido and aiki jujutsu, the
triangle creates a foundation of movement itself. And these are the primary steps of
aikido, natural, aggressive or forward advanced, natural, forward advanced or getting out of
the way, getting out of the way, moving.
