ΛΑΒΕ / HACT Combat Drills (Airsoft Training in Greece 10/07/2016)

Today our club is doing some combat drills, because the weather is hot, it’s a good idea to get indoors and revisit some basic tactics. While all the drills we did today can be done for real steel firearms, our main goal is to further familiarise with, and improve our usage of our pistols. Be it at switching to them because of corners, instead of reloading our primary, or (and most commonly) because of minimum engagement distance. We did various drills which help speed the process of switching and firing our secondaries, starting from basic stuff and moving to more advanced drills. The drills mostly pointed out mistakes in gear placement, and also improved reaction times, and increased teamwork. – Ready? – Again. 3x on the designated target. Slaloms while switching targets and weapons. The infamous Mozambique drill. An extended version with a reload and a (double) double tap. Slalom and stance changes – Chest! – Head! – Prone! – Up! (etc) To increase difficulty, another member is yelling and blocking my movement. Room clearing. Run and gun. And for last, a form of practical shooting. 2x on each target, primary on paper targets and secondary on metal. This part was “on the go”, as in, participants didn’t know target placement until they ran the drill. I did beat everyone’s time by about half a minute, but since I helped set the targets and knew where they were it doesn’t count 😛 If you like this, click like and subscribe ! 1. Here's a question: Do you use the AK reload technique where you get a new mag and flick the old one out?
